Dolphin intelligence rivals humans
Dolphin intelligence rivals humans - I know because I've kayaked with them on numerous occasions. (No need to chase them - they love human contact, especially with kayaks,)
Only a MONSTER would place them in captivity. Want to see them? Do it in the wild on a dolphin watching tour - not in a human made jail cell. That's what a "dolphinarium" is - a jail cell that destroys spirit, cuts lifespan and creates medical hardships. And certainly, anybody with the black heart of a dolphin jailer doesn't care about the dolphin. For them its only about money.
These animals were kidnapped from their close-knit family, never have the chance to properly exercise and suffer severe emotional trauma. I suggest that the owners of dolphinariums should suffer that fate, and release the dolphin - if they can ever find their family pod.
You can enjoy proper dolphin watching from a humanely organised dolphin tour around the World. I've done it in numerous locations including New Zealand and Puerto Princesa, where an educational tour brings you closer to free ranging dolphin that you will get in this Russian's jail. A Dolphin Prison in Phuket - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Phuket and Dolphins need your help!
Please help stop this horrible project by complaining to the government officials below.
This Russian / Ukranian project is morally and environmentally outrageous. The facility was built without the knowledge of Phuket residents but can still be converted into an amphitheater arena.
(Personally I don't care if these sleazeballs lose all their investment!)
I find it ironic that I boycott any destination with whale and dolphin pools - yet these jerks worked in secret to build this facility until the Phuket News broke the story today.
This degrades Phuket, removes highly intelligent dolphin from their families and shortens their lifespans. One also has to ask how this facility was built in near secrecy without Phuket resident input.
If you want to see dolphins then do it the right way - check out.
