Why I don't buy Japanese - Part 2

Most Japanese do not even know their own history.  They do not know that military planners projected 1-2 million allied casualties and 5 million Japanese civilian casualties, and opted for the Atomic bombs as the lesser of two evils.

(War is Hell, and I'm a Pacifist - that does not change the facts.)

As a kayaker I've had numerous close encounters with whales and dolphin - "Look Them in the Eye" for up to an hour's conversation.  These are overwhelming, special, privileged memories - high points of my life.

Cetaceans are not cows and pigs (I'm also vegan - eat red meat and you die of heart disease, cancer, obesity and diabetes - the price you pay for eating your mammal relatives).

Whales and dolphin are highly intelligent.  Cetaceans are HUMANS OF THE SEA.  Killing one is murder, organized murder is GENOCIDE.

I've written to most major Japanese Brand Name Corporations asking them to denounce whaling so I that can buy their products.  Not one Corporation has even had the courtesy to reply.

Vote with your wallet.

Remember these facts the next time you consider buying "Japanese"

NOT all monkeys eat bananas!

Many tourists think that it's cool to feed macaques bananas, BUT it's bad for the macaque and bad for the human.

Attacks are common, and those guys have got big teeth!

Banana's don't grow on limestone islands - at leat I've never seen one. Bananas, oranges, apples, etc are their unnatural diet, and that leads to all kinds of problems for the macaque.

Please think twice before you feed the monkey - once for you and once for them!

Why I don't buy Japanese - Part 1

The Japanese claim whaling and dolphin hunting is their culture, but the history of Japanese culture in the 20th century is so brutal the Japanese government won't come clean and tell their own people so they can learn and grow.

Let's take a walk through history and consider

- Medical War Crimes Unit 931
- Chinese Massacre in Hong Kong
- Chinese Massacre in Singapore
- Bridge Over River Kwai POW camps / death marches from Singapore, etc.
- Rape of the Philippines including Battle of Manila
- Kamikaze suicide missions
Civilian suicide on Saipan (told Americans would rape and murder if captured)
- Banzai suicide attacks

The list goes on, but you get the picture.  Is this a culture to be proud of?

Bullfighting is disgusting

From Animals in Entertainment - permission requested
Bullfighting is disgusting, cruel and sub-human.  Let the firefighter’s burn before they raise money, and then they will also burn in hell - as they deserve.  I am a member of SKAL, the travel professionals club.  I also won their Ecotourism Award, but I will not go to our headquarters because they are in Spain.  I have also turned down large and financially lucrative groups from Spain because they are barbarians, and they do not deserve my quality, enlightening environmental experiences.  I do not want the blood of bulls on my hands.

Of course, I always cheer for the bull to kill the matador, a disgusting example of "humanity" who does not deserve to live.  If the matador has true courage, let him take up the rodeo version of bull riding. Hopefully the bull will kill the matador.  I do not want them in MY Family of Man, any more than I want a genocidal dictator.

Take the high road and ban bullfighting in both Spain and Portugal, and all the Latin American countries.  Like war and genocide, bullfighting shows the worst of the human animal - and it’s shameful to call matadors and fans as human beings.

Since bullfighting only occurs in Catholic countries, I must ask, "Would Jesus approve of bullfighting, or would he kill any animal in such a vicious and brutal way?  Of course not!  Let them all go to hell, from the horns of the bull.
