HA HA - ethical to eat meat

photo from care2 - permission requested

I do enjoy it when writers shoot themselves in the foot - "Why it's ethical to eat meat".

Thanks to Mark and Murray for adding to the no meat argument.

Blow as hard as you want Don S. It's got nothing to do with the rights of others -
it's the facts

First off, meat is not nutritious. As I stated earlier, the science proves that meat leads to heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity.

POINT ONE: When I was in cancer epidemiology I diagnosed a friend's colon cancer, his diet included a 16 oz. steak for dinner every night. He wouldn't listen to me until it was to late and died of colon cancer at age 42. Before you say this was an isolated individual case, the epidemiology supports it.

I have a five year old photo of three fat guys doing simultaneous diabetes blood checks at a German Brauhaus dinner. I mentioned it was suicide to eat meat while diabetic. Two laughed - one listened and stopped eating meat. He is the only one still alive.

POINT TWO: Reproduce a lot (which involved raping unwilling females), and liquidate competitors (slavery and genocide). You can't defend one without defending others on the ground that "we did it to get here, it's no use to stop now".

Overpopulation is our Number 1 problem, It creates and/or contributes to all our survival problems - global warming, food access, delivery and prices, on and on. Apparently some folks still haven't heard about Zero Population growth.
